Internet Marketers Get Ahead When They Buy Twitter Followers

Thursday 28 May 2009 @ 10:40 pm

10246010-usocials-twitter-marketing-services-allow-internet-marketers-to-get-ahead1In the online world, everyone’s searching for a way to save time or profit faster and when it comes to Twitter, it’s well known that the faster you can get followers, the faster you will begin to reap profits from the site.

And while there are dozens of systems, products and ebooks out there on the market which state they’ll help anyone amass a whole load of followers, one company is claiming they possess the Holy Grail when it comes to Twitter followers.

Web traffic agency uSocial.net recently launched a suite of products based around Twitter which include a service which allows their clients to buy followers. Sold in packages of 1,000 to 100,000, the company says they almost can’t keep up with demand.

“Twitter is definitely the ‘in-thing’

at the moment when it comes to social media marketing,” said uSocial CEO Leon Hill. “As we’re based around helping people make the most of this kind of advertising, we were quick to design products around this site.”

uSocial say the most interested partied have been Internet marketers and large companies and they claim they already have several Fortune 500 companies and celebrities on board.

“The word has spread fast about what we’re offering and it seems that as everyone wants a larger slice of the Twitter pie, they’re jumping on the chance to invest in our services.” Said Hill.

More information on the new services can be found at http://usocial.net/twitter_marketing or to contact the company directly you can email them via the contact form on their website.

amazon mechanical turk

Saturday 23 May 2009 @ 6:49 pm

hdr_mechturk

Amazon Mechanical Turk is a marketplace for work that requires human intelligence. The Mechanical Turk web service enables companies to programmatically access this marketplace and a diverse, on-demand workforce. Developers can leverage this service to build human intelligence directly into their applications.

While computing technology continues to improve, there are still many things that human beings can do much more effectively than computers, such as identifying objects in a photo or video, performing data de-duplication, transcribing audio recordings or researching data details. Traditionally, tasks like this have been accomplished by hiring a large temporary workforce (which is time consuming, expensive and difficult to scale) or have gone undone.

Mechanical Turk aims to make accessing human intelligence simple, scalable, and cost-effective. Businesses or developers needing tasks done (called Human Intelligence Tasks or “HITs”) can use the robust Mechanical Turk APIs to access thousands of high quality, low cost, global, on-demand workers—and then programmatically integrate the results of that work directly into their business processes and systems. Mechanical Turk enables developers and businesses to achieve their goals more quickly and at a lower cost than was previously possible.
